The majority of people stop working since they give up, not due to the fact that they are oblivious or untalented. Two words summarize success: resistance and persistence. It goes like this: A child as soon as regreted her bad life to her father. It was getting old to fight all the time. Another problem became quickly as one was solved. The chef father showed her into the kitchen area. After filling 3 pots with boiling water, he put some coffee beans in one, potatoes in another, and eggs into another. After 20 minutes, the father switches off the burners and removes the potatoes, eggs, and coffee beans from the pots. He asks the child what she sees. She answers potatoes, eggs, and coffee beans. The father then asks the daughter to touch the potatoes. She does, and they are soft. The father then asks her to break one of the eggs. She does, and the egg is hard-boiled. Finally, the father asks her to take a sip of the coffee. She does, and it is luscious.

The father then discusses to the daughter that the potatoes, eggs, and coffee beans have actually each dealt with the very same difficulty: boiling water. However, they have each responded differently. The potatoes went in strong and difficult, but they became soft and weak in the boiling water. The eggs were delicate, but they became difficult in the boiling water. The coffee beans were different. They were transformed by the boiling water. They became fragrant and tasty.

What are you, he questioned the daughter? "How do you answer the door when bad luck knocks? Which are you-- a coffee bean, an egg, or a potato?" Though events occur to us and around us in life, what truly counts is what happens within us. Attempting to be like coffee beans, let us all bring taste and freshness to the world around us.
